* considered peaceful but can be dangerous if provoked.

* can catch fish in disc when excited using muscles ( They cover the prey completely, contract discal muscles trapping the prey, eat it, then expel the sand.)

* usually peaceful and just swim around the bottom but in danger can swim very quickly.
